In the spirit of Thanksgiving, today’s (Disney) Wordless Wednesday post is all about our favorite WDW snacks and desserts! See where my mind has gone? Straight to the desserts…

By the way, whoever introduced me to the caramel popcorn in Germany is my new best friend. I’ve tried finding your instagram account to thank you, but it’s no where to be found. So, if you’re reading this and you posted an instagram picture of your favorite WDW snack (caramel popcorn from Germany), THANK YOU!!! If you’ve never tried it before, you should…it’s amazing!

What’s your favorite WDW food/snack item?

Girl Time

With the course of events over the previous week, I knew I needed a little time away over the weekend.

Enter: Kenzie & Melissa

We spent an entire afternoon eating, shopping, talking, and eating some more! I really really enjoyed hanging out with these two ladies and can’t wait for next time! :0)

First stop was a Louisiana specialty restaurant by the name of Walk-Ons.

I had the Cajundillas. I’ll admit, the name itself is what sold me on these!

The dilla was filled with chicken, caramelized onions, Andouille sausage, and boudin! Hello!

After dinner, all three of us split a slice of Krispy Kreme bread pudding. Yes, KRISPY KREME bread pudding! It was really yummy but WAY sweet. I couldn’t have eaten an entire piece alone so I’m glad we split it three ways!

After shopping at the mall for a few hours, we decided we were hungry again. My one request for the day was to stop at the Hershey's’ ice cream parlor for some ice cream and a great American Cookie. (Hence my REAL reason for sharing dessert earlier in the afternoon!) :0)

I had a fabulous day with fabulous ladies and really enjoyed every moment!  They helped take my mind off the events that were taking place with my grandfather and that’s what I really needed!

How about you? What takes your mind off tough situations?
