WIN Detergent Review & Giveaway

Disclaimer: I received this product for review – all opinions are my own, no further compensation was received.

WIN Detergent Title

I’ve been in the market for a special sports detergent for a while, but was never able to find anything I liked.

(Confession) I’m not a “make 5 separate loads out of my dirty clothes” kind of person, but I do take time to separate my running clothes from my every day clothing. One problem – I never found a sports detergent I liked, so my running clothes were being washed in the same manner as my every day clothing. Until now.  Enter: WIN Detergent.

WIN Detergent

When I first received this detergent, I did a little digging – what made it different from other sports detergents on the market? Two bottles were shipped my way – a “regular” and a “green” version.

Here’s what the company has to say:
WIN Detergent is designed to remove sweat, oil, and odors from technical athletic/sports apparel. WIN GREEN is dye-free/fragrance free and is formulated to meet the standards for Design for the Environment certification by the EPA. It also meets the Yellow Rating on the Whole Foods Eco-Scale (certification pending). The formula is hypoallergenic and designed for users with sensitive skin and noses. Both versions of WIN are made in the USA, with a bottle made from 25% post consumer recycled plastics. WIN is septic safe, phosphate free, and can be used in high efficiency washers. WIN does not do any animal testing.

Winter is slowly creeping up on us here in the South – I know that many of you have already received several artic blasts this season. Even though the hottest months of the year are behind us, perspiration while working out still occurs because of multiple layers of clothing that runners/athletes wear. Also, as athletes escape the cooler temperatures for a run on the treadmill or a trip to the gym – sweat still happens, no matter the time of year.
Wouldn’t you rather a detergent that combats the harmful effect of perspiration on sports clothing year round and leave them smelling great? I know I would!

After testing this product over the past month, I’m now hooked! Both bottles were used in the process and I don’t necessarily have a preference of favor one over the other – I like both!
WIN Detergent is also offering one of you a chance to test out their products! The lucky winner will receive a full sized (32 oz) bottle of each – the regular AND the green detergent! This giveaway will run for one week’s time through Rafflecopter and will end on Sunday, November 30th.

  1. I also tested Win and think it's a great product. With two athletes in the house and lots of stinky clothing, it does the trick on our laundry.
