Fitness Friday–8/8

Happy Friday once again! Today, I’m spending the day at my alma mater for an Oncology Nursing Conference. It’s a lot of fun to interact with fellow colleagues and share thoughts, ideas, and experiences with each other.

Here’s my workouts from the past week:

FitnessFriday

Currently training for:
Disney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon
Louisiana Half Marathon
Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans Half Marathon
Disney's Glass Slipper Challenge

Saturday – 8 miles with running group
Sunday – 20 minute cardio session
Monday –  Rest Day (Celebrated Brother’s BDay)
Tuesday –  2 mile run
Wednesday – 3 mile run
Thursday – Rest Day (Celebrated Father in Law’s BDay)
Friday – Run after work – hoping for 4 miles

This past Tuesday, I had an appointment with my sports massage therapist. He recently moved out of town and was back for a visit…so I took full advantage! My legs definitely need it for sure!

I also spent that night in my Zensah compression socks because my calves were sore. The compression definitely did the trick and my calves were not sore the following day! Love these!!

Last night, we celebrated my father in law’s birthday and I got to see a lot of family! These are my two nieces – such sweet girls!

We had a lot of fun times celebrating a couple of family birthdays this week!  Now on to the weekend! I’m looking forward to a long run and relaxing! :0)

What was the most exciting part of your week? Have a fabulous weekend!
