Wine & Dine Half Marathon Costume–Lilo

Wearing costumes for runDisney events is so much fun and one of my favorite parts about their races. So far, I’ve dressed as:

• Rapunzel
• Mousketeer “Karen”
• Snow White

For the upcoming Wine & Dine Half Marathon, I decided to dress as one of my favorite Disney characters, Lilo. After a lot of deliberation, I decided to go with the “parks” Lilo look.

So, here it is!

The leaf pattern was cut from my Silhouette Cameo onto iron-on transfers, then ironed onto the shirt. Not an easy process at all, but it worked and I’m happy with the way it turned out! I found Stitch on ebay and decided to make a mini-Scrump for my skirt! The lei was purchased from the Dollar Tree at the end of the summer and the skirt is a sparkle light skirt from SparkleSkirts.com.  Overall, I love it!

I might decide to ditch the lei midway through the race. If I do that, I have one problem - what to do with Stitch?? Hmmm..I’m going to keep thinking on that one!
