Rubba Ducks Review and Giveaway

The Boathouse in Walt Disney World is the latest and greatest to hit Downtown Disney Disney Springs (sorry...I'm going to make that mistake for a while, I'm sure). I've read blog reviews, listened to podcasts, and even watched a few youtube vlogs - all excited about this new restaurant! Have you heard of them? If not, check out their website here!

Know what else has flocked to Disney Springs? Rubba Ducks! The Boathouse has paired with Rubba Ducks, making them the only non-Disney toy item in the Boathouse Restaurant gift shop!

How cute are these guys?

Rubba Ducks are filled with personality! They are available in all sorts of themes from sports (even a runner duck!) to careers and hobbies! Rubba Ducks make a great gift for friends, family, and loved ones! I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for the runner duck after Princess!

As a matter of fact, I was sent two Rubba Ducks to review and they couldn't have come at a more perfect time!

Meet: Mr. and Mrs. Duckbells!

Imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find these guys inside! I couldn't wait to bring them as my +2 to the wedding...and that's just what I did!

Check out the detail on their tails!!

The Bride and Groom even enjoyed saying hello to the special guests! :)

...and you shall live happily duckly after...

What makes Rubba Ducks so special from the ordinary duck?
  • It’s all in the details. These ducks are chock full of elements, from vibrant colors to ornate sculpturing to decorative costumes and designs. You’re going to love them!
  • They Float Upright. All.The.Time. Rubba Ducks are designed with weights at the bottom so they will always float upright! Try it in your own sink/bathtub/pool!
  • The ‘Hole’ Story. Most rubber ducks have a hole in the bottom which, when used in the bathtub can retain mold. Not Rubba Ducks! There is no hole in the bottom so NO MOLD!

  1. I'd LOVE to give the Boathouse a try in Disney Springs (so weird not calling it Downtown Disney)!

  2. I would definitely give the Boathouse a try. We were scheduled to go to Disney for Fall Break (again) this year, but decided to cancel a few days ago. We were a little worried about the crowds, since it was difficult to make reservations at most restaurants and all of the hotels are booked solid. Although all of our reservations (restaurants included) were set; we just felt like the crowds would be too much. I was kind of sad to cancel, but I would rather go another time of year when we can really enjoy it. Sorry for the long comment, but I know you are someone who can appreciate sadness at cancelling a Disney reservation! A rubber duck would make me happy!

  4. I would love to try The BoatHouse. This post made me laugh because I bought a rubba duck in Germany dressed in lederhosen holding a bear stein and wearing a cute hat! I have it in a guest bathroom to amuse my guests!
