I know what you’re thinking – Sensa……..as in the package of granules that you shake on your food prior to meals? What…??

If you’re scratching your head in confusion right now, allow me to explain.

You see, I’ve been on a very unsuccessful search the past few months. My search has taken me from the grocery store to the health food store to the internet and yet, I still could not find what I was looking for – until now.

What have I been searching for, you might ask? Well…I love water. I drink water all the time. I’m not a soda drinker, I don’t like juice, and besides the occasional sweet tea or coffee, I’m usually found with a bottle of water in my hand (or an earth friendly tumbler filled with water). :0) On the rare occasion, water gets old and boring. Don’t roll your eyes at me, I know water should not get old or boring, but I’m being honest, it does. So, for the past few months, I’ve been on the search for a packet of water flavoring that does not contain aspartame. Aspartame gives me headaches and I consistently read ingredients to keep this substance out of my diet. Have you ever tried finding a water flavoring packet that didn’t include aspartame? It’s IMPOSSIBLE.

Enter: Sensa Quench. No, it’s not a substance you shake on food, it’s a packet of flavoring that you add to water…and guess what? It does NOT contain aspartame! Win for me!

Each box contains 30 packets of flavoring and they offer a variety of flavors to choose from. The flavor I received was Pink Grapefruit and honestly, I don’t like to eat actual grapefruit so I was skeptical at first…but this flavor was surprisingly tasty! Other flavors available to choose from include: Berry Splash, Orange Crush, & Tropical Breeze. There’s even the option of a multi-pack if you’d like to try them all!

I enjoyed a glass of Pink Grapefruit Sensa Quench yesterday afternoon along with a slice of Banana/Peanut Butter bread topped with my homemade fig “jam”. Perfect afternoon treat!

Apart from hosting reviews for Vitacost, I’ve also ordered several food products from their website. They have a HUGE variety of options to choose from including vitamins, supplements, food, baking items, spices, beauty & personal care, pet items, the list goes on and on! They also have a variety of options for different dietary types including gluten free and vegan!

Want to place an order? Use my “Refer-a-friend” link and you will receive $10 off your first order! Vitacost has a huge sale going on right now and it ends on July 24th, so don’t delay!

Hope you have a fabulous Wednesday! :0)

Do you like to flavor your water? If so, do you have a favorite?  If you found one without aspartame, please share!

  3. When I need a break from my plain ol' water, I dice up some fruit and toss it on in a pitcher of water. I'll have to check this out! I have the same problems with aspartame. Thanks for the great review.

  4. My wife loves the strawberry, but it seems to be harder to find, she has tried the other flavors also but still wants the strawberry, so who do you think drinks the flavors she doesn't, lol..
