runDisney's Virtual Running Shorts Medals

Over the course of the summer, I participated in runDisney's Virtual Running Shorts 5K series. The series officially ended on June 30th, but medals weren't shipped out until 30 days after the series was complete. Mine arrived at the beginning of August and shame on me...I never shared them on the blog! The medals are beautiful, of a decent size, and very sturdy! I love them!

Here's a recap of the three part series:

The day this box arrived in my mailbox was definitely a happy day!

Inside were two boxes - one with the medals and one with the tumbler!

Like I said before, the medals are gorgeous!!

I've seen two different color tumblers floating around social media - one red and one blue.

As you can see, I received the red one!

I really did enjoy participating in a little runDisney magic from home!

See ya real soon? Yes, yes you will! :)

As mentioned before, I did enjoy participating in this event, although I do think runDisney could add a few "extras" next time around. I feel as if I registered for the event, then didn't hear anything from them again until the medals were shipped. Even just a few emails throughout the summer would have been nice! I'd love to see what changes (if any) are made to 2017's event!

  1. Those medals are absolutely adorable. Maybe they could add some e-mails with tips and/or encouragement along the way?

    1. I was thinking that as well! Just a few simple emails with a few tips would be an easy and fun addition!

  2. Always fun to get Disney mail! That tumbler is cute and I'm sure you'll put it to good use!

  3. Oh I LOVE the medals and tumbler! I debated on doing the virtual run but never did. Hoping it gets better and better each time! Congrats girl!

  4. I agree that it was odd to register and then hear nothing.

My tumbler originally was blue but arrived broken in a bunch of pieces, thankfully they were able to mail me a new one almost immediately and that one is now red.

  5. Cute! I think emails would have been a great idea!
