Green thumb! :0)

Getting our flower beds spring-ready each year is NOT an easy task!  I worked hard and had a TON of mosquito bites to prove it!  Here’s a few pictures….

This flower bed is along the front of our house!

On our porch!

See all the green things sprouting up?  Apparently that’s zinnias!  Last year, I planted zinnia flowers in this area – the buds gave off seeds that are growing now!  I thought they were weeds at first!  Haha!

My puppies wondering why on earth their momma was so muddy! :0)

All ready for spring!

Also, we decided to change up our bedroom a little.  I’ve been searching and searching for a green/brown comfortor for a couple of months now.  I just so happened to come across a Kohls advertisement for a comforter that was on sale – AND I was able to use an extra 15% off coupon!  Score!

Old set…. (see Pixie hiding? Hah!)

New set!  I LOVE IT!!!!!!  I’m so excited and it’s perfect!  The curtains look a lot lighter in color from the green on the bedding but they aren’t – must have been how the light was shining!

That’s all of my home updates for now! :0)

Yesterday, I woke up early and worked out with Jillian before work.  After work, I took a 4 mile run around the lake.  The weather yesterday AMAZED me!  It was downright COLD outside! IN MAY!  Loved it!!!  Today was another clear/gorgeous weather day!  I ran 3 miles around the lake with a friend after work and we have plans to run again tomorrow!  Yay!!!  Love days like this!

Hope you have a great rest of your week! :0)

  1. I have quite a few gardens around the yard and am so excited that spring ia here. We have had a really cold spring and although all of my perrenials are up and growing, including tons of daffodils and some tulips, it is too early for annuals. Night before last the overnight low was 29.
I just took some photo's of the yard last night and was planning on posting them tonight.
